The Courtyard by Marriott in Danville is Courtyard by Marriott is located in the Piedmont Region of Virginia on the Dan River. Courtyard is a short distance from Averett University (3 mi) and Danville Community College (3.5 mi). Race fans are always welcome as we are within minutes of the VIRginia International Raceway (18 mi), Martinsville Speedway (30 mi), South Boston Speedway (35 mi) and Birch Creek Motorsports (20 mi). Dan Daniel Memorial Park (5.5 mi) is home to the Danville Braves and Veterans War Memorial. The Danville Science Museum (3 mi), Sutherlin Mansion/Danville Museum of Fine Arts and History (2.5 mi) and Southern Railway Train Station (3 mi) are nearby. Courtyard Danville is a short drive to Hargrave Military Academy (15 mi) and Chatham Hall (15 mi). Both airports are approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from Danville, VA. DCC will be providing a shuttle service from Raleigh-Durham ONLY on Wednesday and Friday. We will be gathering information from attendees to find out who needs a shuttle and who will be renting a car. Shuttle schedules will be available shortly. If you're flying into GSO, renting a car is your best option.
