About DCC and Danville
Danville Community College's Regional Center for Advanced Technology and Training (RCATT) opened in October 2005. The center features polymers, electronics and industrial maintenance technology labs, classrooms, a computer facility, office space and a small auditorium. The college's high-end Selective Laser Sintering rapid prototyper is also housed in RCATT, along with an extruder, an injection molder and other equipment for DCC's Polymers Manufacturing Technology and Manufacturing Engineering Technology degree programs.
Danville is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the Piedmont region of Virginia and boasts a population of over 50,000.
