NCATC Member Services

Member Assistance Program
The NCATC Member Assistance Program (MAP) is a benefit that assists member colleges to develop or improve Advanced Technology Centers (ATCs).  MAP services for ATCs include:

  • Business and strategic plans
  • Business and community focus forums
  • Economic development surveys
  • Facility design concepts and technology integration
  • Management structures
  • Marketing
  • Program development

MAP Consultant Teams
MAP Consultant Team members are carefully selected to meet your needs, and your institution approves all team members.  Team members are chosen from NCATC colleges with successful ATC programs, and each consultant is a recognized leader in his or her chosen field.

The MAP Process
When your institution requests a MAP, the NCATC Executive Director schedules a meeting with your institution. Based on your institutional needs, NCATC determines which MAP strategies will be implemented and selects a consulting team based on those determinations. The full team will visit your institution, complete the requested service, and deliver a final written report per your specifications.

MAP Fees
The MAP is an NCATC member benefit.  Accordingly, the cost for MAP consultation services is significantly less than comparable services from a consulting company.  The MAP costs cover consultant expenses and a modest stipend.  All costs are detailed and approved by your institution prior to initiating services.
